KUALA LUMPUR (May 6): TSR Capital Bhd has bagged a RM90 million contract to undertake earthworks and other associated works for the Serdang depot, as part of the Mass Rapid Transit Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) Line.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the civil engineering expert said its unit TSR Bina Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of acceptance from Mass Rapid Transit Corp Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) for the Package DPT 203.
The project’s construction period is 24 months and shall commence upon the notification of date for site possession by project delivery partner.
“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the board of directors of TSR Capital is of the opinion that the project will contribute positively to the earnings of the group for the financial years ending 2016 through 2018,” said TSR Capital.
TSR Capital shares closed up three sen or 5.77% at 55 sen today, bringing its market capitalisation to RM94.2 million.
